TfE rests between the third sector and the emerging hybrid fourth sector. It has a social ethos, re-investing any surpluses back into the community by continuing to provide classes and workshops, and 1:1 mentoring and consultative support.

TfE is developing its paid-for revenue by selling workbooks, courses, business plan templates and guides.

However, TfE cannot continue it's core work without the ongoing support from generous funders in the form of grants and donations.
