TfE – Improving the trajectory of people’s lives

Since 2011, when Training for Employment first incorporated as an LLP, we have helped almost 500 learners in York and North Yorkshire to learn about self-employment.

Over 60% of our learners will go on to start their own businesses, and of those who don’t, most will go on to further training or work.

Over 90% of our participants say that Training for Employment ( TfE ), and the training it provides, is ‘Very Good,’ and agree that they are treated with respect and fairness. Most learners say that TfE’s workshops have increased their self-confidence and given them the confidence to start their own business. Many say that meeting others whilst attending the workshops has increased their networking opportunities.

TfE gives potential entrepreneurs the confidence to enter the business world and become catalysts for local economic growth and social mobility.
